Lea Tassie grew up in the Peace River district of northern BC. Due to six months of winter and two months poor sledding, she started reading books as soon as she could hang on to one. She has traveled and worked in many places, which may explain why she can’t stick to one genre as an author. Her books include humor (about cats), romantic suspense, mainstream and lately, speculative fiction. When she discovered the temperate rainforest stretching along 1200 miles of the Pacific Coast, from Oregon to Alaska, she quit traveling and settled in for good.

More tales from Adriana Island. More matter-of-fact and not quite so humerous as the first two books in the series. I was disappointed with the abrupt ending. It felt as if the author was bored with writing and wanted to end the story quickly.
