About Aimee Easterling

Homesteader by day and werewolf…ahem, *teller of werewolf tales*…by night, Aimee Easterling is a USA Today Bestselling author writing on the boundary between urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

She heats her house with hand-split firewood, writes on an ultra-geeky Linux box, and generally does her best to confuse all reasonable assumptions.

Studying biology and spending a year backpacking around the world have both informed Aimee’s writing, but she’s quite willing to let reality slide in favor of a good story. You can learn more and download a free starter library at www.aimeeeasterling.com.

Good characterization of realistic personages. Storyline is a bit different from the usual. No gratuitous erotica. I liked it a lot.
Bought as Whispersync on the cheap.

Review by: Ed Yost on March 21, 2015 :
Finally, a modern fantasy book I'd recommend for my nieces and nephews. No purple prose distracting from a good story. Excellent characters that come to life quickly. Readers will feel the tension build and rejoice in the successes. Young men will find good role models and subtle romance, but they won't be beat over the head with feminist propaganda, and the shifting during that time of the month is just one of the many rules of this world seamlessly inserted into the plot. Shiftless is stuck in high gear to the end.
