I'm not sure what it was, but the woods fell silent as it made its' way up the side of the hill. I wasn't worried, but then my dog, who enjoyed chasing bear, deer, and elk, crouched down and started shivering as the creature crested the hill. He should have been up barking at it, and chasing it away, but instead he was cowering! That worried me some! More
The area I was camped in had a reputation for strange goings-on and weird noises, but I wasn't worried because I had my trusty hound and my Walther 9mm pistol. I made camp on the East face of Onion Peak and settled in for a quiet, pleasant night up in the woods. The forest abruptly fell silent, and I heard something making its' way laboriously up the hill. It sounded like a two-legged critter, not a bear or elk, or any of the other 4-legged critters up there. I wasn't too concerned until my dog started shaking and whimpering instead of barking and chasing whatever it was. He enjoyed chasing bear and elk, so I figured this had to be something else, and he didn't want anything to do with it!

The author is a good story teller. The author also seems believable as a person. I accept the story being told as a true one. It doesn’t necessarily follow that Sasquatch exists. But I think that the story being told of the presumed encounter with a Sasquatch is completely genuine. The epub version I downloaded had no problems.
