Playing with words is a passion of mine. Over the years I’ve written in a myriad of forms; magazine articles (Synchronicity, Vitality, Canadian Musician to name a few), haikus, bios, media releases, songs, poetry, books and even word puzzles.
Though a sudden and life affecting health change bulldozed my career to a halt for a number of years, I’m celebrating being on the planet by launching a new puzzle book and re-visiting projects that have had to sit on the back burner whilst I rebuilt my life.

Brief Background:
 Started performance career at age 18 doing improve with local theatre companies (Ottawa ON)
 Took up singing professionally in 1991 worked with various bands in Ottawa
 September 1994 moved to Calgary – voice over, television and video work, live performances and special event appearances performing a cappella (national anthem), duos at private parties, and trios through to six piece ensembles at clubs and events
 July 1999 onset of health change
 October 2001 diagnosis of severe, systemic Rheumatoid Arthritis

1999 • released 2nd indie CD Flight
2000 • the song Livin’ Right from CD Flight was used in two episodes of Caitlin’s Way (Canadian TV series 2000-2002)
2000 • was a stand-in in the Italian/Canadian feature Almost America
2002 • wrote and self-published a children’s book titled, Icicle Hands and Icicle Knees
2002 • chosen as May ‘artist of the month’ by
2003 - 2006 • performed in the Calgary Stroll of Poets , works published in the event anthologies 2004 • co-write and vocals on 2 tunes for the soundtrack of Canadian feature-length film The Girl Who Married A Ghost (written and produced by Sandra Sawatzki)
2005 • casted in Paul Brandt's video Leavin, and a cameo appearance (as they called it) in his video Home
2007 • Editor, cover art designer for Calgary poet Del Pine’s book Leaving Eden
2010 • re-release of Icicle Hands and Icicle Knees, launch of Mains gelées et genoux glacés the French language version
2011 • e-book release of Before The Mist, a selection of my poetry, lyrics and the stories behind them
