A quick story with a twist ending that I did not see coming. I like that!

Reading this story made me think how our mundane and ordinary lives could easily come to an end, one day out there on the road, and we'd never know. Only in this story, the dead man gets to find out that he is dead. Spooky.

Well told very short story with a plot that moves along with mundane details and then a zinger twist at the end. I was drawn in and kept asking myself what was going on and what was going to happen. It was really basic stuff, but then the zinger at the end.

Well, as Jim Morrison said, "Keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel."
I see this story has a "4" while the others are "1" and "2". What happened to No 3?

I wouldn't call this horror but after saying that it has scary undertones of a frightening situation. Very realistic and I suppose this happens every day somewhere in the world.
A good little short read that gets you thinking.

A very sad story which was well told. I agree with the title, if he hadn't looked up when he did it might have turned out different.
A good little read.

This is a serious topic that Linda has conveyed very well.
I agree with Kevin, if you have everything don't throw it away.
Well done.
