A very real and intriguing read

The writer does an excellent job depicting gang life, the sheer brutality of Street life, and the boys in the hood. Despite these obvious perils, there is still a strong sense of comradery, and importance of family bonds. This brings life in the ghetto to the forefront with Language and characters that are ver memorable. It reminds me a lot of "Luis Miguel Fuentes: Diary of a Dirty Boy". Real, in your face, and poignant.
