Towards the end I began suspecting that the was an alternate view of some scenes from the first book. I read the works on separate days so may have missed something with the pause between. They might be better as chapters in a single work.

Another well written short. I did enjoy the few details you gave about the protagonists living conditions, though I hope to see more description in the next piece. I was also hoping this story would start where book one ended. I want to know more about this world and the main character.
I do look forward to reading more, though.

I enjoyed this second morning but admit to being a tad dissappointed as I was expecting a continuation from the first book. However, despite the groundhog day sense of reading one after the other, I did enjoy this story and gave a bit of an amused groan at the ending.
