Received as an ARC for an honest review Loved this book. Lots of twists & turns and just when you thought it was over even more happenings. A believable story with a sheriff, a mate who doesn't believe in mates and even a vampire which was a little out there but didn't take from the story at all. Love Michelle's take on shifters and can't wait to read more.

This book is part of the bad boy alphas series but it's a stand alone so you don't have to worry about being lost in the storyline. This is the first book I have read read from michelle fox and I have got to say wow she is great!
the book flows, has lots of plot twists to keep you excited and tons of action tossed in, a great deal of sexy tension and romance to make the book interesting. Lol I loved it.
The author has a great imagination it was awesome!

The Alpha’s Justice by Michelle Fox

Gretchen has grown up in the wolf community and wants her chance to become a great chef in the outside world. After finishing culinary school she gets her chance and nails it but then she gets a text from a mysterious number threatening her father and her father’s picture showing him beaten up. Nothing matters more to Gretchen than her father. In a blink she is leaving the job interview and calling everyone she can think of back home to check on her father. On her way home thoughts run wild. Once home the local sheriff and the Alpha say they will look into the matter. Not being one to sit idle by Gretchen contacts the rogue shifter sheriff herself. He doesn’t seem concerned at first but there is just something about Gretchen that catches him off guard. He has to stop and take a second look. It seems he realizes he has found his mate only she is not interested and to get her interest he is going to have to help her solve what is happening to her Dad and why it is happening. Michelle Fox has done a wonderful job of weaving a great story full of shifters; romance and action that once you start I don’t think you will want to put this one down. This is one wild, hot read full of surprises. Loved the story and all the action.
Read and find out what is cooking up back at Gretchen’s pack and how she winds right in the middle of it.

This was a great story by Michelle Fox. I truly enjoyed how dedicated Gretchen is to her father and pack. It was a great journey watching her travel from never wanting a mate to beginning to trust that a mate may not be the worse thing in the world to have. It was truly fun to watch how Talon walked the line between wanting to claim Gretchen against her will and helping her to see that he was not cut out of the same cloth as her mother and would not leave his mate. So far I have enjoyed every book I have gotten written by Michelle Fox and will continue to pick up future releases by her....especially her shifter books they are a great mix and just steamy enough to keep me coming back for more.

I received this book as a gift from the author in exchange for an honest review. That said, it's one of Ms Fox's best! I haven't read the first book in this series, so her new take on the world of shifters was a nice surprise! The idea that there has to be a division of law enforcement just for shifters makes a lot of sense, once you think about it! And Talon as the local sheriff - make that the smart, handsome, HOT sheriff! - will convince you, if I don't! Gretchen's bias against fated mates is understandable, since her own mother was one, and yet she deserted both Gretchen and her dad. But Talon is not a jerk, and he's also not going to let the woman he's waited for his entire life get away! Their back and forth alone will keep you laughing. I loved it from the start, and I promise you will, too.

First off Ive read Michelle's work before and loved it, this one can be added to my fav list. The most important...well with all the cliff hangers coming out lately, I can say this doesnt have one. Yay!! and its a stand alone.

Gretchen almost annoyed me (smiles) her tunnel vision as far as mates and love colored her personality about Talon. I can even say Talon was all lips and hands granted but when you scent your mate, all bets are off.
I enjoyed not only the story line but the characters, was a lot of fun, even a bit dicey in some parts.

Being an erotic themed book there was some serious heavy petting, a scene or two of hotness, not as much as I'm used to. But as I said the storyline carried it through very well. Its a decent length.. more than a novella, but not too much longer than that.

Thank you Mrs. Fox for the opportunity to read this about these awesome shifters. I do recommended it.. Enjoy

This is a great book,as soon as I started reading it I was pulled in to the grey storyline. I loved Gretchen and Talon, Talon is the local sheriff and Gretchen goes to him to help solve whatever happened to her dad. Talon on meeting Gretchen knows that they are fated mates but Gretchen does everything to fight it,but Talon doesn't take no for an answer. I even laughed at a few places while reading this book,it's a great book,I would definitely recommend it but adults only as there is sexual content.

Better than the first in the series. I really enjoyed this sequel in he Huntsville pack series. I like that it was not the predictable fated mates formula of "instalove".

I like the characters also. Gretchen was career oriented woman and wasn't just waiting around for a man. Talon was an alpha without being ridiculous. They felt like a real couple with real issues. The chemistry was also very hot.

The villains were well done as well and not just one dimensional. I enjoyed the world building in the book more than the previous books. The concept of strays was very interesting. Even a society of paranormlas have to deal with those who don't follow the rules.

Overall this was a well written book with an interesting plot. This is a perfect example of how to write a a great paranormal romance.

I loved this book!!! :) I especially got a kick out of the personality of Gretchen's inner wolf. I would laugh out loud at her inner wolf's comments and attitude. It was so much like her and yet had it's own thoughts and feelings. Poor Talon was so unprepared for Gretchen's human side and her reactions to him. I am surprised he didn't end up wearing armor when he was near her. It would have definitely the poor man. His inner wolf was eager for their mate as was he. He just had to convince HER of that little detail.

This book is definitely worth buying and reading. It is a keeper.
