Corn, Cows, and the Apocalypse (Book 1)

Rated 4.00/5 based on 1 reviews
Between demon-ridden corpses trying to kill her, her mentor futilely trying to train her, and her pathetically non-existent love life, Lenore has not been enjoying the end of days nearly as much as she hoped. If only she could meet a nice man, who treats her right, doesn’t expect her to save the world, and isn’t an incarnation of evil that threatens to extinguish the human race.

Having just finished reading this and wondering if the sequel is available, I thought a review was in order. On the technical side the prose is well written
and I believe I only ran across a few misplaced or omitted words. Perfectly acceptable in a FREE novel. As for the creative, awesome! The protagonist is a relatable and sympathetic person who is thrust into a post rapture world of semi hedonistic pandemonium. The way some antagonists flip flop from repellent to just barely sympathetic sets up a nice dichotomy of human nature. As for the real bad guys I have not run across anything as creative as them for a sociopathic fantasy and I have read quite a bit of zombie apocalypse stuff.. All told this is well worth the time to read and I am going to buy the sequel now. Nice work, wordsmith!
