I started the book and barely put it down to complete a few tasks then I was right back at it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Krystine Kercher did a great job of making the characters likeable. I especially appreciated the way Bjorn was matured by his adventures, but not too much. I was concerned there might be enmity between some of the brothers, but it all came together in the final chapters. The story was gripping enough to constantly hold my interest and not so terrible I didn't want to continue. It was just right. A breath of fresh air blew through the story when forgiveness abounded. It is a reflection of that grace we receive from above. The only negative for me was that it didn't last longer. I plan to read her other works.
