Idlewild Summer

Idlewild Summer is a story of community, friendship, and forgiveness. It's June of 1965 in Idlewild, Michigan. The Civil Right's Act passed last year and many of the top African American performers are choosing larger cities. Eleven–year–old, Della, who visits her Grandmother every summer in Idlewild, decides to help save the dying town.
