Six interesting stories my grandpa told me. The first story: Birds of a Feather is a story about a dove and an eagle that are good friends; unknown to both they are grave enemies until the truth came to lamplight. The second story, Why Tortoise Have Rough Shell is a story about the tortoise that got into trouble when the report of his act of stealing got to the king. He was severely punished at the king’s order. Why Lizards Nod their Heads is a story of a king who promised to give out his beautiful daughters to any suitor that can come up with their names, the monkey tried out a trick and was able to come up with the names but the red neck lizard cheated him. Why Guinea Fowls Have Bald Head is story of the guinea fowl, in his quest to get food at the verge of death went to visit his friend the tortoise to search for solution. Why Dogs Live with Man is a story about how the animals were experiencing grave attacks from the hunters; so a meeting was called to decide their fate. Grandpa ends his stories with Dreamland, a beautiful place in the jungle where the entire animals wish to go. Dreamland is depicted for her waterfalls, serenity and reputed as a land of plenty by all the animals; behold she became the frequent of Mr Fangs a dangerous and fierce poacher and on the other hand a lover of animals by the name Prof. Rains; both men never agreed.
