A group of space colonists are cut off and trapped on a distant planet when they disturb a revenant undead left over from a previous mission More
Many thousands of years into the distant future the human race reigns supreme over the galaxy, its colonial starships travelling vast distances to settle new worlds in the furthest star systems. The Tula IV is one such ship, travelling for almost a decade in a floating miniature world in order to reach the paradise planet Hearthstone, a veritable Eden of rolling hills and lush green valleys. But Arianna Carso, the ship’s librarian, knows that all is not how it seems. For humankind has attempted to settle Hearthstone before, only for the colonists to vanish without trace, without contact. It is not long after arriving on Hearthstone that the true horror is realised. For the planet is home to a mutated race of revenants; ravenous, all powerful beings completely without reason; monsters dedicated to death and destruction who will stop at nothing until every last human has been wiped off the face of this phony paradise. Trapped and surrounded, the starship which was once their home, now their prison, Arianna and a few desperate survivors must use every means necessary to survive from day to day, hoping against hope for a salvation which soon emerges from the most unexpected of quarters...
