I read 2% before putting this down, Killer zombies in space, self preservation at the cost of 50,000 thousand lives. Nothing I want to read here.

One of the most depressing books ever written, the author must be a real joy to be around. Humans go to another planet that was previously "colonized" and failed because, well humans are too stupid to fight back effectively. The second space craft full of humans were dumber than the first group and are soon on the road to oblivion. Well, while that are stupid the author also breaks all the laws of physics to make certain they can't protect themselves. (Sorry author but if a body, any body, is make up of mostly water it will freeze when subjected to -100 temps unless they have an external source of heat. Concussion bombs ALWAYS work with a concussion and it doesn't matter how tough the exterior shell is.)

I could go on with more ways the author pulled the science out of his backside but you get the idea. Physics be damned and common sense can go with it.

The only thing I can recommend this book for would be virtual bird cage liner...
