Crumbs of Wisdom

Bits of wisdom gleaned from a well lived life. Some of this wisdom is biblical, others are from observation and personal experience. All of it intended to help you live a life with more joy and less pain. I've included all of my favorite recipes because life is just better with good eats, especially if those eats included a bowl of rich, savory potato soup. More

Life would be so much easier if it came with a road map - one with destinations clearly marked out, like: take next right for health, wealth, and sublime happiness or exit 66-6 for wailing and gnashing of teeth. Instead the best we can hope for are travel guides written by those who are further down the road. That’s my goal with “Crumbs of Wisdom.” It’s a guide for living a better life.

I’d like to claim that I pulled all of this wisdom from my own gray matter but most of it is biblical relevance in today's world. They are truths gleaned from decades of bible study and church. For example topics covering worry and temptation, that’s God's work in my life. Topics concerning: cleaning, changing a flat tire, making perfect mashed potatoes - those are all on me.

I’ve included most of my favorite recipes because all journeys are better with good eats. Amongst these recipes is one for quite possibly the best potato soup on the planet. Life can sometimes suck, but a bowl full of rich, savory potato soup goes a long way to making things better.
