About Bo Burnette

Bo Burnette is the author of Denver and the Doolittle Raid and The Lighthouse Thief. His uncle, Denver V. Truelove, was a bombardier in the 1942 Doolittle Raid--a mission which Bo discusses through his uncle's story in Denver and the Doolittle Raid. In addition, Bo loves the beauty and history of St. Simons Island, GA, and his middle-grade novel The Lighthouse Thief is set there.

Bo makes his home in Georgia, is a hopeless coffee addict, and desires to glorify God in all his writings.

Review by: shakespeareanthespian on Oct. 19, 2015 :
Finding Viola is a delightful short story of timely character development, well-crafted metaphors, with the enduring themes of beauty, longing, and ultimately — redemption. Mr. Burnette has the makings of a skilled wordsmith and I look forward to more works from him in the future.
