About Demelza Carlton

Demelza Carlton has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.

She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers and stood on spray-drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.

Sensationalist spin? No - Demelza tends to take a camera with her so she can capture and share the moment later; shipwrecks, sharks and all.

Demelza now lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world.

The Ocean's Gift series was her first foray into fiction, followed by the Nightmares trilogy. She swears the Mel Goes to Hell series ambushed her on a crowded train and wouldn't leave her alone.

very enjojable read. well written and entertaining. the end leaves you wondering a bit, but i think because there is a second part a secuell ore something because it said book 1 as well. witch is ok....:( what els can you say. that one star is missin because i feelt that the mane male caracters view was missing/lacking. if his opinions, feelings, view were includet more it would be a truly awesome 5 stare book for me.
So, he is just so stubornly holding on to his rock star Image... he could be a good guy but is just acting like a jerk so mutch...... the man had it hard in the past to dont get me wrong, but he is spoiled and just cant handle life i think.... give it time with the mane female caracter in his life and some cange of his vewe he´d be able to be a happy man in the end.So, she is very likable whit a dificult background and family, hard working and a good person(in my opinion). i am happy that she gets to .....(Spoiler!)..... work in antarctica in the end as she dreamd of! she so deserves something good happening to her... p.s.: sorry about my bad spelling.

Well gee, this book had me teeter tottering between loving it and not! The rock star really played the all things bad role completely which at first I found humorous but kept pushing towards ridiculous. Our main character, Audra, she really kept me flipping the pages because I wanted her to either tame the rock star back to a decent person or put a forever hurt on him. Now, I can't disclose the outcome, but I can once again proclaim this writers skills on stirring up the emotional roller coasters! As a reader, the book doesn't always have to stimulate the normal warm and fuzzies. By also getting my anger going well, I have to concede this book took me where it was designed to. I applaud this great writer! You didn't give me roses and Prince Charming, but you did successfully keep me glued to these pages dying to find out the outcome!!!

I really enjoyed this book, it was a fun read. I would highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys a contemporary romance novel. The setting is a luxurious resort where maid Audra becomes a sought after prize to Rock Star Jay Felix. The chase is on - Will Jay win or will Audra lose?
I received this e-book free in return for an honest review.

this book is not really free since you have to buy another book for the ending. its a trick that makes some reader pissed. the story is good and I think the Author is also good but because of this trick I wouldn't buy any of books from the Author. if the Author is really Good it doesn't matter if the other book costs a little, reader will always buy it but free books should be really free with the endings.
