About Steve Vollmer

I write fiction well, play mediocre chess, garden creatively, and practice ever evolving yoga. I live with my girlfriend on the side of a small mountain, large hill combo with lots of wild flora and fauna, both life forms far more interesting than the top of the food chain. I'm terrible writing about myself. I guess that's non-fiction. I often wonder how I'd do on Jeopardy.

I thought this was a very well written short story. It is a very timely topic and seemed like a realistic scenario. The dialogue is the key to the story and all of it was very natural and believable. Each character had a very clear and distinct voice. I enjoyed reading it very much.
