The Ideal and Alien Dreams
"The Ideal and Alien Dreams" is a publication by Omar Zayan, a well-known promoter. He created a groundbreaking psychological theory on June 27, 2015, explaining how the "id+" and the "id-", the two pieces Omar founded for Freud's psychic apparatus, determine our dreams. The id- in our dreams is pleasure meant to suppress hardships, and the id+ in our dreams is pleasure meant to bring euphoria. More
Since the beginning of time, we have always wanted to answer the question, "Why do we dream?" However, the fact of the matter is that there is no direct answer to that. Many people will always have many different answers to that question, and this will always be the case.
The answer to that question isn't a matter of why we dream. The answer to that question is actually a matter of how we dream. "The Ideal and Alien Dreams," a June 27, 2015 publication created and released by Omar Zayan, explains the "how's" more so than the "why's."
A dream interpretation is useless. You can try to interpret as accurately as you possibly can, but it's a hit-or-miss. You might be right, and you might be wrong. The only way to figure out how we truly dream is by laying out a series of steps involving not just the unconscious, but involving the conscious, as well. One's current situation in life, along with the preoccupied or vibrant thoughts possessing his or her mind before sleep, is the catalyst in determining the overall aspect of how their dreams exactly came into fruition. Interpreting only the dreams by themselves is like pressing the gas pedal while stationed on "P" (park). The car is working, but the car is not moving.
We've been restricted to 3 parts of the psychic apparatus: the id, the ego, and the superego. The reason why we haven't been able to fully understand how or why we dream is because the id, specifically, is subjective to many people's opinions.
And so, when someone interprets your dream, you take a good look back at them and think to yourself that they've just interpreted it all wrong. And, you're exactly right.
The true answer to how, or why, dreams come about is by understanding the functions of two subcategories branching off of the id, which Omar has coined the id+ and the id-. Each one is objective, and each one has specific rules embedded within them. Hence, when you would like to interpret one's dream, the id+ or id- would then guide you through that process; helping you explain why that person dreamed a specific way.
