About Robert Arrington

Robert Arrington spends his days posing as an unassuming computer technician for a large law firm in Raleigh, NC. But by night, he transforms into a (hmm, how to put this politely?) unassuming writer of super heroes fiction. Not exactly the wisest career choice, but we deal with reality as it is.

He lives in Raleigh with his wonderful wife of thirteen years, Lucille, who has indulged this misadventure into the realm of writing and publishing with surprising good grace. When he is not working or writing, he can generally be found at home trying to help his children (Son, age 11, and daughter, age 9) with their homework and whatever else needs some attention. The Arrington household was recently invaded by two bearded dragons, but after some uncertainty on both sides, a peace accord was reached. All parties are looking forward to a prosperous period of mutual cooperation.

The first draft of The Wonderland Effect was published as a web serial on Robert's blog, http://www.DispatchesFromWonderland.com. Just finished the book and I loved it. It's a wonderful scifi and modern day twist of Alice in Wonderland. The story jumps right into Alice's adventure as she battles with other empowered people like herself, while she reflects on her own abilities that will take her into places she's never been.

I absolutely love this book. It is full of mystery, action and adventure. Paranormal people are starting to emerge in the world and one man is trying to gain all their powers. Alice has deemed something in her world the Wonderland Effect and this book lives up to it's name. The story flows nicely and is a fun read from beginning to end. The author was new to me and I couldn't be more glad that I came across this book!

The only thing I would change would be to make the book longer than what it already is! I just couldn't get enough of it and found myself reading at every available opportunity!

I have just finished reading this book and have to say that it truly left me yearning for more! The story is easy to follow, but complex at the same time and well-fitted for all ages. The main character, Alice Littleton, is easy to fall in love with and has an amazing diversity in the full cast of characters. It's so easy to love some, hate some and want to bring some home with you to play with! The story is loaded with action, adventure, heroes, villains, super powers, joy, tears and so much more! You will definitely feel this story!

The book takes you on the adventure of Alice's path of super and really wanting to use them for good over evil. There are many adventures for each of the characters and this book is one that you will not want to put down. The characters are very well written and don't worry you will know alot of the characters. If you love Alice, a little bit of super natural and love adventure then this is the book for you.

If you are looking for a great twist to the Alice and Wonderland story, this is the book for you. The story line grabs you early on and keeps you entertained to the end.

In this book, you are taken down the path of Alice's journey of super powers and how she wants to use them for good and not evil. The characters in the story are very descriptive and full of adventure. You will get a story that provides a great mental picture of what is going on, while keeping the story moving. And a lot of characters that you recognize from the original tale, with some great twists of super powers. If you like adventure novels and a little supernatural feel, you can't go wrong reading this book.

A book that I will enjoy reading multiple times for enjoyment. Will look forward to possible sequels from this author. I received this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. #WonderlandEffect

From the beginning this book was a page turner, it really did draw me right in. I was expecting some play on the typical Alice in Wonderland but I'm glad to say that is not what I ended up reading. The characters are very developed making it easy to follow their intentions and get invested in what they're doing. He develops the setting very well so you never feel like you are lost in space or how someone ended up at a location. I received this book at a discount for my honest opinion.

This book is very interesting. It drew me in from the beginning! Once I started I couldn't put it down! The characters were captivating and intriguing. The story line was more than I expected. Honestly I thought it was going to be cheesy. Wonderland always makes me think of Alice and while this had those aspects it was original and captivating. This is a must read!

I received this book at a discount for my honest opinion.
