Review by: David Blake on Aug. 3, 2015 :
This short story essentially concerns a married couple who, after many years of seeing eye-to-eye on just about everything, suddenly find themselves vehemently opposed to one another in respect of their daughter's future. It uses this scenario to offer arguments for and against abortion.
Often short stories which neglect description are a no-no for me but in this instance the dialogue-driven approach probably works to the story's benefit.
That's not to say the writing is particularly strong, however. There were numerous errors, from punctuation to continuity (the daughter's age changes from 18 to 16). And what is "Smarshwords" which is mentioned numerous times before and after the story?

Review by: Hobbe Noxious on July 6, 2015 :

If you ever had your parents argue as a child, and for whatever reason, actually enjoyed listening to the process, this book is for you. Otherwise look elsewhere. Rambling abortion-themed nonsense. And neither of the characters within were even TRYING to win the argument! There are plenty of ways to justify killing someone in the bible. Just pretend the baby is a sinner by proxy and stone the damn thing. Loophole found. Fer christssakes.
