A very down to earth account of someones journey through the morass of religion and opinion to a better understanding of God's word.

Ever felt like someone was reading your mail? DeAnna Willman walks us through her own struggles in figuring out and discovering her own identify in Christ. Ever struggled with making sense of some of the events and admonitions in the Bible? "I am a Hebrew" provides helpful insights and explanations. What is God’s Word concerning the Sabbath? How does the church fit in the historical scheme? How did the Hebrew and Jewish cultures affect the words of our God and Messiah? Be admonished, encouraged, and challenged in your own life as things are explained…as you are thrust into the words and truths of Scripture. This book is ideal for those who are asking tough questions in their own heart as well as for those who are already students of the Word. Readers will not be disappointed! (I was first given a copy of this book which I have thoroughly highlighted and marked; I then purchased a few hard copies to give to friends. I have just purchased the ebook format for quick access.)

I love this book! No fluff, just truth. It is a very straightforward style of writing that I appreciate. I wasn't looking for traditions or doctrine(not that they are all bad)...just the biblical perspective so that our family could study and know what the Word says (and not the multiple people in our lives telling us all THEIR version of the truth that varied greatly - causing confusion.) It really helped us dive in and figure out better where we stood because we had already decided the Bible was our standard and we cared more about how God felt about things than man. But we were unsure of where to start. I wish we would've had this book at the beginning of this journey! But even after studying much this book was amazing and we even have given hard copies to friends who are trying to dig into scripture as well. Both this and her new book "Proclaim My Feasts" are top notch! I highly recommend them. (We own hard copies of these books as well...I just now bought the e-book to have the references close/easy to access on my phone.)
