I loved it! Silhara and Martise are such an awesome couple. It's nice to see how their relationship has changed since MoC and to see a different side of Silhara when he's with Martise. I also loved seeing the world from Silhara's POV. Martise is also a realistic, strong and witty character who is more than capable of taking care of herself and balances out Silhara's dominant personality. The dialogue between the 2 main characters is charming and hilarious.
The plot had the perfect balance between romance, action, and fantasy, leaving me wanting more. I can't wait for the next book as this one raises new unanswered questions.
I hope there's a story for the secondary characters as well. I really want to see how that plays out and gets resolved (hopefully!). Kudos to Grace Draven for another amazing book!!

Amazing plot. I love how Grace Draven comes up with a different romantic plot to her stories everytime without repeating any of the fantasy elements. Although the novella is classified under romance, I find that it has a perfect balance between fantasy and romance. She did not gloss through elements which are important to the fantasy development. At the same time, she also didn't go into painful details which will put off readers like me, who loves the fantasy genre, yet cannot pull through the lengthy details like Lord of the Rings. I love how her wit is reflected by the portrayal of her characters charms. Brings a smile to me when I read the banter between them.

A very satisfying read. I'm hoping fervently that we'll get to read about the subplot which was left hanging in the end. Looking forward to all her other books!!!
