Space 51

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 review
It's time for Ava to see what's out there. Whether she's ready for the task is irrelevant. The aliens have made it clear that they will stop at nothing to destroy our planet. Her only hope is to reach the mysterious station called Space 51 and pray they have the capability to protect the Earth. That's assuming treachery from within our ranks doesn't destroy us, first. About V.G. Harrison

Science fiction has been my love since I was a little kid who purposely tried to stay up at 11pm to watch Star Trek. When Star Wars hit the scene, I would've given anything--even pay a total stranger--to watch it everyday at the movie theatre. Of course, my parents would've yanked me out of my seat by the scruff of my neck. all-time favorite is Alien 2. And here I thought Alien wouldn't be topped.

So what does any of this have to do with me and my writing? Well, I've been writing for a few years now and even though I watch a lot of sci-fi, I don't read it nearly as much of it as I do paranormal. So, it made sense to combine the two and come up with my Project Solstice series.

I currently live in North Carolina with my family and am a disenchanted member of the rat race.

I was pleasantly surprised to be enthralled in to this book. I am not usually one to read about aliens, but this book was not so super technical in description that it lost my attention. It was the complete opposite, and I was immediately in to the story. Aliens have attacked a base. To add to the complexity, Ava, the main character has to make it through a supernatural world. It reminds me of the real world where fear has taken over and everyone is so focused on being scared that they do not focus on the real issue. It's a good read and a good page turner.
