Although money does not buy happiness, more money leads to happiness. If there is no money, human beings tend to be stressful. So money does equal to happiness scientifically. Without money you can't pay your bills or purchase something that can be useful. Money is like water. In this book, the author goes about explaining why you should have goals that can lead to generate money and happiness. You can go over the table of contents only, and you would read it. Why? All because the author knows how to tell and show you the truth: black and white. The effort that the author puts into this book is so different from other authors. The time and knowledge and experience make a big difference. You want more money, then read this book. You want to be happy, then read this book. You work hard for what you want. I hope you guys share this book with family members.

If you're interested in the topic at all, this is definitely a title to sit down with. Even from the very first chapter, Dr. George lays out a very powerful fact: Chances are you don’t need to learn more about being happy; you need to apply what you already know.

That being said, though, Dr. George does lay out some helpful guidelines for doing this, such as practices for developing gratitude and recalibrating one’s brain away from a natural negativity bias. I’m also grateful for the practical tips on drafting a process plan that he outlines.

The chapter Fail, Fail Again, Fail Again Better by itself makes the book worth it. So many books on happiness focus on motivating you towards success, but rarely do they coach you through failure. He outlines very wise considerations about the best way to fail

In short, if previous books and/or TED talks on success and happiness haven’t yielded the results you’re looking for, this book will help you remove the barriers that may be responsible. Highly recommended!

I watched a youtube video called "Is happiness a choice?" and it led me to this book. To be honest, it's not at all what I expected.. I was worried that it would be an academic paper about happiness but it is in fact very practical and motivational. It also completely changed the way I think about failure and how to learn better negotiation through consumer complaints.
