Rated 5.00/5 based on 5 reviews
A man is falsely tried for murder escapes from prison in Mexico and crosses the desert in search of a new identity. He reemerges in LA as a rock journalist and the fun begins when he falls for a woman who threatens to uncover his past. The author really shows how good he is at telling a story with this one. As others have already mentioned, it's hard to stop reading since you never know what the main character will do next and then what a twist at the end - magnificent!

An excellent drama of life through the eyes of a man forced by circumstance to assume the identity of not only a dead man, but someone he himself killed. The False man is one of those stories impossible to put down, because it makes the reader want to know what exactly is happening in the bizarre life of this False Man.

escape,to his assuming the identity of a German photographer, who
also ends up dead, to taking a trendy job on a pulp music magazine in
La-La Land .Once well situated in his new job and identity, he has
plenty of romantic adventures, but ultimately, and sadly because we
come to like him, he must pay for all his subversions. The writing is
lyrical, colorful and philosophical, with a twist of lemon, so to
speak. It is amazing that writing this good can be downloaded for
