Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
"Chill" is the bizarre tale of a penny stock fraud wrapped in a dysfunctional relationship sprinkled with addiction. A novel based on true events, Chill tells the story of a a young woman with a promising career in a New York City advertising agency who throws it all away after a chance meeting with a con artist, in part because her addiction to donuts and love clouded her judgment. I found CHILL: A CONFESSION a fantastic read. Funny, sad, mesmerizing, shocking (even when you knew where it was going) — it had the feel of a brutal soul-search that had just bled straight out to the printed page — but it's wonderfully told with style, humor and class. CHILL was all but impossible to put down. It's a surprising gem in the sometimes less-than-stellar arena of self-published ebooks.
