About C.A. Strand

No stranger to lakes, C.A. Strand grew up west of Lake Calhoun and east of Lake Minnetonka. The author also enjoys lake-based adventures north of Ely or east of Grand Marais whenever possible, and currently lives not too far from the water, 2,033 miles west by southwest of Chicagoland.

Creating the Stella Sky stories is the first time C.A. Strand has had the opportunity to write for kids, and the author sincerely hopes everyone at any age will enjoy meeting Stella, George and Freddy as much as Bettina Baxter did

About the Series: Stella Sky
When Stella Sky stumbles across a magic mirror hidden in the back corner of a cluttered boathouse, her family vacation to a lake cottage in the North Woods takes a strange and unexpected turn. Exactly who is this Ice Queen, and where exactly is Snowy Hall? Finding the mirror is just the beginning of an oddly troll-infested summer adventure for Stella, her pet ferret Freddy and her new friend George Thistlebaum, when they head north to find out.
