About Terrence Gavin Willis

I'm an artist primarily, but have always enjoyed stories, no matter what form they are in. I'm also a keen musician, and enjoyed both playing and watching live music. I'm also in the very early stages of developing a low budget film about a local legend.

I have always had a love for imagination, creativity, and any outlet that allows this, is certainly worth exploring. I enjoy swimming, cooking and socializing whenever possible.

Very cool mixed art style that very much matched the mood of the story. A unique approach to storytelling with a satisfying ending.

Permanent Scars has got to be one of the darkest novels I have read. The fact that it is all told from the point of view of a girl who cannot fully comprehend everything that is happening around her makes it all the more disturbing, along with the simple children's book layout giving it a slightly menacing ambience. Every image in this book is moving in its own unique way, perfectly capturing the thoughts and images inside Jessica's mind. The story grips you from beginning to end, and leaves you looking over your own shoulder for the Man in Black. A terrific debut by the author, this novel gives me great anticipation for what is to come next.

A superb graphic novel read in one delicious go...captivated.
Terrance Gavin Willis has found a simple way to tell a dangerous story, with illustrations so unique I found myself constantly pausing to enlarge and take in fully throughout.
His first publication reveals a skill that is not to be wasted and leaves you wondering what else is waiting to dare escape his mind; morbid, outrageous and wonderful all at the same time.
Just my cup of tea ;] Enjoy
