About J.C. Wing

J.C. Wing is a novelist, a homeschooling mom and the co-owner of Wing Family Editing. She has worked as a staff writer and editor for A & H Publishing, as well as Kids 411 magazine, and has taught creative writing and poetry workshops for children aged 7 – 12. She also worked as an editor and proofreader for Booktrope Publishing.

In 2012, J.C. published her debut novel, The Color of Thunder. She has since introduced readers to her Gannon Family Series with Alabama Skye and A Skye Full of Stars. The much anticipated third installment of this series, Under a Southern Skye, will be published in 2017. This year, J.C. celebrated the release of Dead Beat Dates & Deities, the first novel in her Goddess of Tornado Alley romantic comedy trilogy.

Although she is a Colorado native, J.C. has made her home in North Carolina and southwest Germany. She studied English and literature at Front Range Community College in Colorado, and children's literature at The Institute of Children's Literature in Connecticut. Along with her husband and two teen-aged children, she also lives with a seventeen-pound cat named Mouse and Phoebe and Ursula, her two chocolate lab puppies.

What a wonderful novel! Although this is technically a sequel it can be read as a stand-alone. Such a depth of storyline background and a focus on family that truly defines the word. A pleasant and clean read.
