About Roxanne Snopek

Born under a Scorpio moon, raised in a little house on the prairie, Roxanne Snopek said “as you wish” to her Alpha Farm Boy and followed him to the mountain air and ocean breezes of British Columbia. There, while healing creatures great and small and raising three warrior-princesses, they found their real-life happily-ever-after. After also establishing a successful freelance and non-fiction career, Roxanne began writing what she most loved to read: romance. Her small-town stories quickly became fan favorites; print editions of her latest series were recently launched in France.

Review by: Christine A. on Feb. 14, 2016 :
It took me a bit to get into this story. A lot of names and connections that I had to put in order before the story got good for me. Pansy and Nate have fallen in love and want to be together however, a different path is meant for them both. After many years apart they reunite. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Pansy finds Nate to be a good kid. Nathan’s sweet personality draws him to her. Nathan feels Pansy is dangerous but that is what he finds alluring. While he loves Mary, it isn’t the same kind of love that he has for Pansy.
Unfortunately circumstances find Nathan at a crossroad. He wants to marry Pansy but his father wants him to stick with Mary. After all, it is for the good of the family orchard. Will Nathan choose Pansy, the woman he truly loves or will he stick with family and spend his life with Mary?
I enjoyed the first installment of the Secrets of Cherry Lake. However when I arrived at the final page, I was a bit shocked to see the story just end. Hoping for more from Pansy and Nathan in the next books
