About Shawn Muller

Shawn Muller is the author of the Chronicles of Ghost Company series. He has also written and published a small children’s book, titled “The blue fairy’s lost comb”.
He was born March 23 1980, in the small South African town of Heidelberg, Gauteng. His parents moved to the coastal town of Richards Bay when he was ten years old, where he still resides. He completed high school in 1998 and dabbled a bit in computers and internal sales before becoming an electrical apprentice, where he qualified as an electrician in 2004.
While he was a computer technician, he met his wife over a local internet chat site. They met officially, face to face in 1999 where it was love at first site. They were married in 2001, the same year their son was born, and 2005 saw the birth of their daughter.
Shawn began writing while he completed his last two years of school, during his English classes. It took many years, a few rewrites and some stern words from his wife, for him to have finally finished book 1.
It was self-published in 2015, both as an eBook and as a hardcopy. Book 2, written together with book 1, was first published in 2016 as an eBook and hardcopy. The children’s book was released in 2016 as an eBook.
Shawn has written a few short stories the last few years, some of which have been entered into short story competitions, the latest being the Commonwealth Short Story competition for 2018.
Shawn is currently writing book 3 of the Chronicles of Ghost Company, as well as a short story for the Bristol Short Story competition.

Review by: Alan Black on Sep. 15, 2015 :
Exciting and full of action, with only a few hints of romance. It wasn't perfect, but the pace of the story allowed me to overlook the minor issues. I will certainly buy and read a sequel, if there ever is one.
