Flight 607E A KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Lockheed Super Constellation Crashes Into The Atlantic Ocean August 14, 1958

Royal Dutch Airlines had a fine record of never crashing a plane into the ocean before August 14, 1958. This streak was broken without any warning by KLM Flight 607E en route to New York. The plane entered a squall line that a Pan Am flight had miraculously just flown above and through. The Pan Am plane made it safely to London. It's pilot had tried to make contact with the missing Dutch plane. More
