Corporate High School

This dystopian YA novel packs more punch than many others in the sub-genre because it tackles a contemporary issue, the assualt on our public school system, and openly asks the reader to get engaged and fight back for our schools. As evocative as it is timely, this novel will stick with young readers and move the not-so-young as well. More

About Benjamin Gorman

Benjamin Gorman teaches high school English in Independence, Oregon, where he lives with his beautiful, smart, and infinitely patient wife, Paige, and his essentially perfect son, Noah.

Ben completed his first novel while in high school and has been trying to hone his craft ever since. Besides studying literature and writing in order to teach about them, he tries to practice on a number of platforms like his blog (www.TeacherGorman.com) and Twitter (@teachergorman).

Ben is a graduate of Whitworth University (B.A. in Philosophy), George Fox University (Masters in Teaching), and the Oregon Writing Project (part of the National Writing Project) at Willamette University. He's been named to the National Writing Project's Council of Writers. He has been told he looks like Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins but has the voice of Steve Buscemi.
