About Michael E. Burge

Michael E. Burge, grew up in the Midwest, the Chicago suburbs and a small town in Southern Illinois. After retiring from a career in computer software sales and marketing, he began pursuing his lifelong interest in writing, publishing his debut novel, Bryant’s Gap, in 2015.
Michael has again drawn upon his Midwest upbringing to bring us his new novel Melding Spirits. The novel takes us back to 1958, a small town on the Wabash River, where we meet a unique cast of characters, become engrossed in a gripping mystery, and experience a touching story of first love.
