About Robert Nicholls

I am a Canadian born Aussie, having emigrated with my wife to North Queensland in 1975. Since then, we've raised a son and have both been working in the state high school system. My areas have been English, History and Geography while hers has been Science. I write because I'm hooked on the music of words. I also sculpt, in wood and stone, because things that can be made with, and held in, the hands are good for the soul.

War damage affects so many people, & much has been said, thought, felt, & written about it. With "Neville the Less" we get an engaging perspective of innocence, guilt, bigotry, fear, confusion, & all those other "Things" we may find right in our own neighbourhood. Written with a flair for the English language that is too rarely seen, making for an entertaining read. I wish that all writers could turn phrases as great as Mr Nicholls. Can't wait for the next book ...
