About Ian W Taylor

Ian Taylor was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. He enjoyed an extensive professional career as an international trade negotiator and as an Australian Trade Commissioner, living and working in many parts of the world. He has drawn on this experience and his love of the Australian outback to write his first novel.

Ian now lives back in Melbourne with his wife Cheryl. He has two adult children and two grand-daughters. When he is not writing he is keeping his body fit by exercising (e.g. hiking, cycling, swimming, playing tennis) and his mind active by studying current affairs and international politics. He enjoys travelling both overseas and in the Australian outback where he found much material for this novel.

Review by: Fitzbacon on Oct. 15, 2015 :
Good story. Fast paced. Sometimes too fast, inasmuch as some tension and suspense was lost by glossing over. Probably could have used a hundred or so more pages to gloss out the back stories.
Overall I would recommend this book.
