It does an excellent job of highlighting their battle against the media's version of perfection in a potentially unhealthy skinny body type. An interesting twist takes place when an interview with a noted health expert reveals the possible motivations behind the media's love affair with a skinny feminine silhouette.
From that point forward references are provided that leave the reader to contemplate potential lies that could affect the general health of all of us. The book left me wanting to know more for my own good health as well as my loved ones.
An excellent, and very insightful eye-opener. And, a worthwhile read for all.
