I believe through lots of hard work I achieved that by becoming the best in my state and receiving an athletic scholarship to compete on the Division 1 level. I remember coming back that next season and actually overhearing somebody say “Where did they come from?” Yes, I was technically skilled at my sport, but I lacked the physicality of my sport, that little bit extra.At the age of 14, I was blessed to have a coach that understood the importance of strength & conditioning. He set us up at the gym with an outstanding powerlifting coach, and from there it started.
