About Sheila Golding

My name is Sheila Golding. I live in North Devon, England. I started writing twelve years ago. I like to write children's stories and humorous poetry. Several of these have been published.
I have a large family: six children, and now seven grandchildren. One of my grandsons has Autism, and this condition interests me a lot. We have always been extremely close.
I don't really have any hobbies unless chatting is included, I love to spend hours on the phone catching up with family.
We also have two lovable dogs; one’s a Springer and the other’s a white rescue dog. We aren't sure of his breed or exact age, but despite issues with fireworks, thunder and fast movement, he’s a brilliant guard dog who has settled well.

Review by: Sylvia Williams on Nov. 05, 2015 :
Here is one of the most original stories about a little witch I've ever read. Teeny Tiny's dilemma was humorous but also sad and i was rather upset at Miss Pillinger and the Icy Witch Queen for being rather heartless toward the little witch girl. I understand they had been 'patient' for some time, but what happened at the end was rather severe.

I am looking forward to the next installment so I can learn what adventure Teeny Tiny Witch and George the Broomstick will face. I hope her spell casting improves!

I found the art matched the words in a sensitive and lively manner. The expressions on the faces showed emotion in a realistic way, and I found the ending of the tale brought tears to my eyes and loved the close up of Teeny Tiny and George as the last illustration. Great work, both of you. I hope the next book will be ready to read very soon, thanks so much.
