Adam is a new member of Dover Pentecostal Church, pastored by Butch, a Bible-thumping, fist-flailing, ultra-conservative man. Enamored by the way Butch commands his flock, Adam follows like a sheep, wanting to rid his life of sin.

But a new sin coerces Adam into a world he never thought he'd be in: Gwen, the pastor's wife. Beautiful, kind, and Southern, Gwen is too irresistible to ignore—unless you're the pastor of a growing congregation. Feeling disregarded by her husband's 24/7 church agenda, Gwen takes notice of Adam and things forever change.

One of the most enjoyable things about Joshua Cole's writing is his use of dialogue. He makes it so realistic that it's easy to get lost in the characters' conversations.
