About Bruce George

I have been a long time reader of science fiction, military fiction, the occasional mystery and historical novels. I began reading amateur stories and was amazed at what could pass for an articulate and cohesive tale. So, I decided to give it a shot. I have been writing for years, but never published any of it. The first book, in my Broken Soldier series, had been rolling around in my mind for a few years. Once I began to put it together I realized I had an interesting tale; just the kind that I enjoy reading. I hope you enjoy the series, as much as I enjoy writing it.

If you wish to compliment me, or rip me to shreds, I can be reached at my e-mail address of I gladly respond to all who wish a private communication.

Both stories in the Broken Soldier Series (Broken Soldier & Starting From Scratch) are well written and were a great read. Only complaints was the use of were instead of the correct we're in a couple of places, 'your' instead of 'you're and a couple of other grammatical and spelling errors. Other than that the plot-line and the action were good as well as the character fit their personas very well. I like the fact that Mike the main character wasn't afraid to take whatever action was necessary to get the job done, while still trying to keep the causalities of the good guys and innocents to a minimum. I will await for the next stories in the series and
will purchase them as soon as they show up on Smashwords.
