Marvelous novel, beautifully written and profoundly moving. Best work of fiction I've read in quite a while. Certain turns of phrase were breathtakingly beautiful. You want to see a grown man cry? This story moved me all the way.

Stunningly beautiful book... This lyrical novel about adult sisters and the family secrets they've each held from the other is rich in imagery and intrigue. Narrated by five different characters, each with a distinct voice, this book made me stop and marvel over the author's gorgeous turns of phrase. By the time I finished, tears were streaming down my face, and I wanted to start it again, just to spend more time with these amazing people.
