"The Best Intentions" by Candice Hern is a traditional regency romance in the best sense of the genre, with all that implies. The book was well-written and entertaining. The characters were well developed and likeable. The content was suitable for a general audience, with no foul language or sex scenes. (I have no problem with foul language or sex scenes, but some people do.) In summary, this was a very good old-fashioned traditional style regency romance. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I know I will reread it. If you like Georgette Heyer, you will probably find this to be a very enjoyable book, at a bargain price.
