Ted Tayler was born in Corsham, Wiltshire in 1945. Throughout the 60s and early 70s he sang with several bands and travelled all over the country.His first book 'We'd Like To Do A Number Now' was published in August 2011 and was a collection of true stories from those days filled with music and laughter. Now retired, Ted published his first novel 'The Final Straw' in May 2013. His collection of short stories 'A Sting In The Tale' was published in October 2013 and the sequel to 'The Final Straw' called 'Unfinished Business' was published in Spring 2014. The first story in a brand new series featuring 'The Phoenix' called 'The Olympus Project' came out mid December 2014 and Book 2 'Gold, Silver and Bombs' followed in June 2015. A reworking/compilation of the first two novels called 'Conception' (Birth of The Phoenix) appeared in July 2015. The third book in the Phoenix series 'Nothing Is Ever Forever' emerged in Dec 2015 and 'In The Lap Of The Gods' followed at the end of April 2016. 'The Price Of Treachery' the fifth book arrived in September 2016. Book six, 'A New Dawn' escaped in January 2017, with news that books seven to twelve in the series are already in the pipeline. Book seven, 'Something Wicked Draws Near' was published in April 2017. Book eight, 'Evil Always Finds A Way' followed in July. In August I released a Boxed Set of books 1-4 in the series. Book 9 'Revenge Comes In Many Colours' followed in December 2017. The final 3 books in the series 'Three Weeks In September', 'A Frequent Peal Of Bells', and #Larcombe Manor' will be published by Summer 2018. Then, I plan to sit back, enjoy my retirement and watch the money roll in.
