The book is a self-reflective autobiography whereby the author dares to write on such a personal subject and in such an open manner about sexuality and spirituality. He shares his journey on the long road towards inner happiness and emotional maturity. Francis’ story is also our own story and personal journey towards fulfilment and realisation of self. More

About Francis Xavier Aloisio

Francis Xavier Aloisio was born on the island of Malta, but spent more than half of his life abroad, first in Peru as a missionary priest and then in England where he settled after resigning from the Church.
Whilst abroad, he realised that not many people knew about the temples of Malta. On his return home, he had a strong urge to find a way to promote the unique wealth of the Maltese prehistoric and historic culture. Firstly he created a collection of paintings depicting Malta’s journey throughout history, and then he started doing his own research on the Temples of Malta and Gozo.
He completed a trilogy on the temples of Malta: 'Islands of Dream,' 'The Age of Magic and Wisdom' and 'The New Temple Dreamers.' He also published 'The Maltese Temples in Paintings & Poetry' and 'Malta through the Ages,' 'The Islands of Dream Speak' and 'A Cosmic Perspective to the Maltese Temples' as a self-guide to the sites. He even wrote two autobiographies: 'What a Trip!' and 'Coming to Light!'
In 2017, he embarked on writing the script and making a documentary of the Maltese temples: Let the Stones Speak! This documentary is a compilation of all his work and insights about the temples of Malta.
Francis directs and consults with people/groups about the experience of the sacred sites found on Malta & Gozo (see: maltatemplejourneys.com), and now together with Christine Auriela, does the same with people who want to visit the Central Coast of California and to connect with the pure Lemurian Energies (lemuriaenergyjourneys.com).
Francis started painting late in his life as a way of self-expression. He draws his inspiration from his Maltese background and his experience in South America and England. He is a visionary artist, author, and spiritual temple consultant.

This book is much more than an auto biography. There has been a long-felt need for such a narrative to be told. Although the author's experience is unique, the broad outline of his story is in line with that of many souls inhabiting this earth.

Innocent childhood is conditioned very early in its lifetime by authority, 'education', society and even family. Many 'choose' their place in society based on expectations placed upon them, and then later on, they discover their true selves. Sadly, most are not strong enough to take the leap of faith out of their soul cages. Bolder souls, maybe with a little luck and with some help from real friends do take the steps towards liberty. This is the story of such a soul and thankfully, it has a happy ending.

The reader can find a clear testament to the success of the author's healing process. This is in the form of the language used and spirit shown while writing about entities and people who have had a negative impact on his life. He has made his peace with them as he calmly relates their stories in the manner of an honest, truly independent reporter. There is no anger expressed. There are no accusations. There is no judgement. There is just a clear description of cause and effect.

Although the author's trip was a turbulent one, its narration is quite a smooth and pleasant ride. I particularly appreciated the dynamic style. One moment we grudgingly wake up with him in a Tantric workshop in Gozo facing the unknown, and in an instant we are taken on a flashback in the past to then find ourselves back to the workshop again. A quite enjoyable read indeed. Highly recommended.
