About Vicky Earle

Author Vicky Earle lives on a small farm where the horses come first. The dogs and cats are a distant second and the humans are there to look after them all.
Somehow Vicky and her husband Martin raised two active sons, and it's a miracle that they survived the adventures of country life.
Writing is a life-long passion for Vicky. Her first memorable childhood writing adventure was the scripting of a play for string puppets (which she made with a little help from her family). The puppet show was performed to a packed audience of eight.
If Vicky couldn't write, she things the words would accumulate inside her and generate so much pressure that she would burst. A messy business.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The plot and multiple subplots certainly keep you guessing along with the characters - hard to put it down even when my eyes were telling me to sleep.

This book reminded me of why I like a good "whodunit." The tight writing and fast pace quickly drew me in and didn't let go of me until the last page. Move over Hercule Poirot and Inspector Banks - there is a new sleuth in town!
