About Ryan Wood M.D., M.H.S.A., CAQSM

Dr. Wood began his interest in health and nutrition as a personal trainer for eight years. During this time, he competed in numerous body building shows. His major in college was focused on Exercise Physiology. His studies included Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology, Biomechanics, and many others. During Medical School he attained a dual degree with a Masters in Health Services Administration. In residency, while attending the University of Oklahoma, he became Board Certified in Family Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Wood completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine in which he became Certified and Qualified. He has been the team physician for several high school, college, and semi-professional teams along with having thousands of Family Medicine and non-operative orthopedic patients of all ages. Dr. Wood gives lectures regarding health, fitness, nutrition; injury prevention and treatment to local communities.
