About Kay Edwards

I am a country girl. I grew up along the Susquehanna River in central PA. I am a Christian and not ashamed of it. I have four children and an awesome (according to him) husband. I believe that Christ must be first, family second and everything else as God sees fit to lead you. I absolutely love a great love story and have written many just for fun. After introducing some friends to my writing, I have been encouraged to publish. I will find a way to always put a twist of humor in everything I write, because that is who I am. If it comes into my mind it is usually out of my mouth, which has put me in some absolutely hysterical situations. I look forward to sharing work with people and hope you all enjoy.

As you journey with Tiffany and Toby, you learn how to overcome your past fears and insecurities while keeping your focus on the strength and grace that only the Lord can give...... A great insight also on how we shouldn't reject our present blessedness because of past hurts and how opening ourselves to freely give and receive love heals....was hoping they marry,I love weddings

This was beautifully written. Kay did a slam dunk job of taking this very hurting couple slow. I'm not sure if that was her intent, but she addressed the danger of co-dependency when coming from abusive relationships. Another great book. Keep them coming!!!!

Two people with abusive pasts meet and there is an instant connection. But to work on that connection, they must look to the one who drew them together in the first place. As they draw closer to each other and work on overcoming the pain of their past.
And to deal with that, Tiffany and Toby are surrounded by friends that are more like family who help them each step of the way. The Storms Journey reaches out to the abused and relates to them in a way that provides healing and hope.
I realize through this book that we walk through storms in the journey of life but with our eyes on Christ we can make it out stronger.
