About Gaëlle Cathy

Born in 1978 in the South of France, I now live near big town Lyon, France. I wrote poems as a teen but mostly songs. Very early, I developed a passion for the english language and the USA, which I visited often. The TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer sealed those two passions in written words, when I began writing fan fictions. Over 70 during the course of 6 years, before finally leaving the safety net that it had become. I self-published my first novel, "When the River Flows out of its Bed", in 2011 as Gaëlle Cathy. A year later, I self-published "Legacy", a fantasy novel (pen name GC Lehane). I published my third novel "Fire and Ice" with Affinity eBook, NZ in February 2014 (republished independantly on august 2015). "One Breath at a Time" was published on May 20th 2015 followed by "That Week in Acapulco" on December 2015. I published a new and improved edition fo my first book, "When the River Flows out of its Bed" in february 2016. My fifth novel, "A Little bit of Grey" was published on February 2017.
2016 marked the beginning of my translating my novels in french, (my mother tongue). "Quand la Rivière Sort de son Lit" was published in December 2016. "Un Souffle à la Fois" was published in July 2017. "Le Feu et la Glace" in September 2018. "Une Semaine à Acapulco" is expected for December 2018 while a new English novel will be published in 2019.

Apart from writing, my many cats take a lot of my time and I love that. I love music and going to live shows.
