About M.R. Vallone

I love a great book. Dan Brown, A.G. Riddle, Michael Crichton, James Patterson and Brad Meltzer are all authors of mind bending Sci Fi Mystery Thrillers and Action Adventures with surprising twists. I love reading their books. I finish them. A bad book I toss aside never to pick it up again. I also love a great movie that sweeps me up into forgetting that I'm in a theater and hate bad movies so much that I leave the theater in the middle of one. If it grabs me and captures my attention, I will sit there to the end. That also makes me happy, since entertainment is supposed to make you forget your troubles. An agent read a two page draft of a story beginning I wrote and said it would make a great movie she could sell. So she pointed me to a screenwriter she repped and told her to guide me. She was a #1 star screenwriter's best friend. I joined a group of Hollywood screenwriters founded by him, Shane Black of Lethal Weapon fame, who told me that I had a gift for writing screenplays. After beating Hollywood doors knuckle bloody over a phone, I decided to write novels where I could be the producer, director and writer. Now I knock my forehead knuckle bloody

Review by: Jane Lavuire on Jan. 28, 2016 :
I’ve always been diehard fan of the thriller genre and have recently found that the sci-fi genre is starting to grow on me, so I couldn’t resist going into this book with intrigue and, admittedly, high expectations. That being said, I can say that author Michael Vallone has more than met my expectations and left me very satisfied with the read.

The author blends the defining elements of each genre together near-perfectly and the end result is a read that is unique, interesting, and above all, well-written. I must also comment on the characters, especially Dr. Collins, they are put together excellently and their dialogue between each other flows in a realistic manner. I recommend this to readers looking for a new spin on the genres that is fresh and entertaining.
